Product Description
The Argan Tree, Argania spinosa from Sapotaceae family and grows only in Morocco. The trees can live from 150-200 years. For centuries traditional cosmetic products produced from Argania spinosa have been a well kept secret known only to Berber women in Morocco. Argan oil is believed to be one of the rarest oils in the world. To produce Argan oil for cosmetic use, freshly harvested kernels from the fruit of the Argan tree are pressed and filtered through an organic cotton sieve, to extract the aromatic oil. The Argan oil is easily absorbed by the skin. This form of Argan oil is used for the treatment of dermatologic disease (acne, etc). Argan oil extracted by this method is used in Aromatherapy. In Europe, Argan oil has been used in the Aromatherapy industry for a long time, but for some reason it is not well known in the United States and is unavailable in retail stores. Argan oil has almost twice as much vitamin E or a-tocopherol as olive oil and it is much richer in linoleic acids. Its anti-ageing properties, due to high levels of vitamin E and saponins (which soften the skin), are well documented. Tocopherols are very important to human health because of their anti-oxidant actions and free radical scavenger affects. In traditional Moroccan medicine, Argan oil is used for the care of the body and face to counteract the effects of age or weather.

I've been using Argan oil for about five or six months. I use it on my hair, my face, my nails, my hands, - everywhere. It has taken a while to get under my skin enough to deal with some bad acne problems I suffer with, but I'm happy I stuck with it - Everything they say about this stuff is absolutely true! I Highly recommend it.

I purchased the argon oil after my hairdresser used something called "moroccan oil" on my hair. He told me it was also good for the skin and the major ingredient was argon oil. I put a little on my hand which had a burn and the next day it was almost healed. I decided to try the pure argon oil and see if I preferred it to the "moroccan oil". Unfortunately, the pure oil although good is not as good as the "moroccan oil". I will definitely finish the bottle but would probably only buy the "moroccan oil" again.

I had two surgeries following an accident and I am using this on the multiple scars. I have always used Vit. E in the past, but these are much larger more pronounced scars. This is working faster than Vit. E.

I've used this product to get rid of eczema on my skin. Since the winter is coming, I'm stocking up knowing my skin tends to dry in the winter.

If you are looking for a product that promotes healthy hair and faster growing hair, this it it. I was excited to try this product because its rare and special. I started putting it on my scalp about a week ago, my hair is shiny, healthy, and growing once again faster than normal!!! Some people dont know how im growing it out so fast, this is my tiny little secret. You will love this stuff, and you will treat it like the delacy it truly is.
